Designing the visual identity for FITH 2024, held on October 18, 2024, in Guimarães, Braga, Portugal, at the historic Pousada Mosteiro de Guimarães, was more than an aesthetic exercise — it was about translating the essence of the event into form: a dialogue between human, technological, and sustainable innovation.

On a crisp autumn day, surrounded by the serenity of the monastery and the hum of ideas in motion, design met meaning.

Every visual element was crafted to reflect the spirit of FITH:
Dynamic lines symbolizing continuous movement — research and collaboration in motion.
A contemporary color palette bridging natural and digital tones — nature and code.
Fluid yet precise typography, capturing the balance between critical thinking and practical action.

Beyond shaping the event’s identity, I also presented a poster on intelligent systems for food retail, exploring how IoT, Artificial Intelligence, RFID, and other emerging technologies can enhance data collection accuracy and support smarter decision-making — for instance, through real-time shelf stockout detection systems.

More than a logo, more than a study — it was about designing connections between insight, technology, and human experience.

The result is a brand, and a research journey, that you don’t just see — you feel it.
